Congratulations, you won the game.
November 5th 2024, Republicans won a game that they started playing since the heyday of the Civil Rights movement and ensnared a new collection of people. Silicon Valley's transhumanist billionaires.
Before we Begin:
I respect you enough as my fellow man to draw conclusions. I know based on the most base of human experiences that we share - we get up, we eat, we love our families, we procreate, we expel waste, we die - that you and I have some common experiences. I seek to talk to you about that.
Are we ready? Let’s begin.
I like to read.
I was raised to like to read and seek out information. That’s not strictly true. After becoming a pop culture blogger and journalist I started seeking out information. If I was going to write about characters being adapted, I was going to know everything about a fictional character. Even ones I didn’t like.
That gives me a degree of patience and understanding about how human beings process information. I’ll toot my own horn in saying that - I like how people make things. I like how there’s philosophy and theory to how we talk to each other and how we parcel out writing and communication. Throwing everything, race, religion, gender, disability - things that influence what we talk about and how we talk about it -I like how we, a species either made by an omnipotent being choosing to reveal itself through vague prophets who can’t cite their sources but produce wonders…
…Or a misbegotten group of the spawn of bonobo and chimpanzee monkeys. We talk.
Apparently most Americans can’t read above a sixth grade reading level (what?seriously? what kind of privilege do I have?) and thanks to tiktok and the pivot to video most folks have shorter attention spans.
I like to watch too.
Make your jokes. I’ll take them with the same grace I took being roasted and earning the awe, ire, and jokes thanks to the Venom: Save the Last Dance social media team. Who I feel bad for ( because I forgot to hashtag my photo that I asked to put up and everyone thought they were dragging on me. Which is actually a large part of writing this because even if people made fun of me, most people were just shocked that someone would call out somebody for a bad hair day and selfie (seemingly for no reason). Especially a major social media account.
That tells me two things. 1- humans may not be inherently good. We do have a semblance of social contract to hold society together that bridges all divides. 2- people have morals of a sort. Or at least the 20 million people who saw my bad selfie, my crappy hair day, etc.
Let’s talk. I’ll try and give you stuff to watch too.
There’s a youtube channel called Fundie Fridays which is run by a woman named Jen Bryant and her husband. She was in an Amazon documentary called Shiny Happy People featuring the Duggars. It addressed a church called The church of Basic Life Principles. I’ll link the trailer below.
What you need to know, to sum up everything rotten in the state of Christian Evangelical everything, is that Josh Duggar is a convicted sex offender and he touched his siblings and watched videos that should get him and the people who made him buried under the jail still alive with cameras so we can watch them suffocate. I’ll provide a specific documentary below by filmmaker J Aubrey on youtube.
The thing is, Jen Bryant and her husband also cover Jerry Falwell, the Moral Majority, and the subject of Christian Universities. They talk about Praeger University which has been putting out anti-LGBTQ+ videos, and historical revisionist history that is currently allowed to be taught in Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Louisana and more? I believe in giving you information, so here’s their page. Draw your own conclusions.
That’s where the Democratic party is at right now, drawing conclusions. Trying to figure out what went wrong and insisting on outreach to a “forgotten demographic” trying to convince them that their/our/the party is the party that they want to get with. We’re fun and we have a pool and a basement. The Republicans have rented out Chuck E Cheese. They rented out Showbiz Pizza Palace back in the 70s with Falwell’s Moral Majority and a name that people who have read Project 2025 know. The Liberty Foundation.
My point is, outreach, while essential, can’t be the only plan. See the Republican Party’s shining stars have been putting out propaganda since the 1970s. It’s so deep and it runs right into the situation with Israel. Here’s a movie called “The Trump Prophecy that shows that a few people draw very real connections between Donald Trump and Netanyahu. That people who do believe believe with the kind of religious zeal of a cult.
Outreach can’t be the only thing done, because the GOP, Trump, their allies, Netanyahu and others go back years. It goes back even longer. There are books that date back prior to the internet too whose names I can’t remember because I heard them while watching a video. I may love reading but I have a shorter attention span thanks to the pivot to video.
My point is, it was a long long game. Dems can play a long game sure, but lives are at stake and things are going to go faster than that. We don’t have time to lay a bedrock of progressive populism that people will do or die for and make horrifically bad videos about. Exit polls show people want progressive ideals. AOC gets it.
People understand that mocking someone without provocation is shocking, if not wrong. That violence is surprising and against the status quo. People lean progressive because that’s human nature and the one thing we have managed to do despite repeating history is get it through our heads that there are some things we do to each other that aren’t right and even if we all can’t get it at once. It’s there.
Let’s talk. I want to try and give you some more information. Remember.
I respect you enough as my fellow man to draw conclusions. I know based on the most base of human experiences that we share - we get up, we eat, we love our families, we procreate, we expel waste, we die - that you and I have some common experiences.
I was scrolling through twitter when I came across Vice.com media theorist Douglas Rushkoff. Remember, we established I like to look for information, and Rushkoff shared something rather alarming about guys like Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and other very very rich people. Specifically that they see something coming that’s bad. We have to give credit where credit is due since so many people respect them and won’t hear a bad word. These people are very smart and recognize that they fucked up and they are looking for a way to keep them and theirs safe while the rest of us burn.
To quote Rushkoff, “The most powerful people in the world see themselves as utterly incapable of actually creating a future in which everything’s gonna be OK.”
That article’s short. While the rich realize they fucked up and they decided the answer is to play the world’s biggest game of Fallout (without realizing the point of Fallout is that it doesn’t work) The next piece of the puzzle is transhumanism and Russian Cosmism.
I’m gonna drop some videos here now. Some of them are a little hard to follow but it’s video. Here’s the outreach the democratic party wants. Once again
I respect you enough as my fellow man to draw conclusions. I know based on the most base of human experiences that we share - we get up, we eat, we love our families, we procreate, we expel waste, we die - that you and I have some common experiences. I want to you on that basis.
I’m not an expert. I do believe you deserve facts. In fact that’s a red line I draw a lot of friends won’t like. Even though I am at risk. I will defend your right to vote as you want with my life.
The essence of what I know as someone who has read these things but is not an expert. Russian Cosmicism is the idea that mankind’s goal is to become interplanetary, that immortality will be achieved via this, that we will transcend our human bodies and live together in the cosmos. It can be summed up by this quote:
“We take the essential and real rights of man to be the right to exist (immortality, resurrection, rejuvenation) and the right to move in cosmic space." A declaration that represented the first foray into something called Biopolitics.
I linked to a really good video right there but if you don’t want to click the link, try this one below. I recommend the one I linked to.
Biopolitics can be summed up with this quote:
How can we be equal if death separates us?
How can we eliminate private property if every human owns a private piece of time?
How can all of humanity if not for the highest goal of every individual - immortality?
What is Cosmism? Immortality and it’s pursuit relating to theology and religion. It’s a fact a lot of folks are going to need to reckon with because it’s what people like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Silicon Valley billionaires are trying to duck. So if you want to move forward in life, either to join them and become immortal somehow in a mysterious cloud or live your life and jump into the unknown.
Where are we at? The idea that the goal of the state should be immortality, that human purpose is to become divine?
John 6:47 “Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.” John 6:54 “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 10:28 “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

CONCLUSION:
Russian Cosmism is it’s own form of eugenics. It’s actually been (jokingly) discussed by Elon Musk himself.
This has run long so I gotta be simple. When Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, JD Vance, Donald Trump and others want to offer you an immortal cloud to live forever in Whose to say who gets to go?
The irony, the absolute irony that comes from Evangelicals voting for this new administration, is that Christianity offers more hope than the doctrine that Evangelical Christians have. Rather than placing power in the hands of the Almighty, Trump has put power in the hands of JD Vance, Thiel, and Musk who have some pretty similar ideas to these guys and have made no promises we get to go be immortal in the space cloud with them.
Nuralink right now is just one guy, there’s no way to know how it might be if manufactured, and when the US drops all it’s regulations about it, there’s no promises that meemaw and peepaw who voted for Trump are going to have brains that are correctly wired to go to the immortality provided by the state. That even if they sacrifice themselves for their kids. There’s no promises that they’ll be able to go either. For the good of the few, from groceries to science, Christian Evangelicalism and Techno-Religious ideology have fused together to lie to the masses.
About progressive ideals. (see where I’m going?). Once again from AOC
Yeah. We’re all going to die one day and we’re all scared to die one day because a lot of people have tasted despair in this elective cycle and a lot of people have tasted despair in the previous elective cycle. The motivating factor behind all of it is fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of loss. So the question is “what do we do?”
The democratic party wants me to talk to you. I’ll reiterate what I said at the beginning, middle, and end of this.
I respect you enough as my fellow man to draw conclusions. I know based on the most base of human experiences that we share - we get up, we eat, we love our families, we procreate, we expel waste, we die - that you and I have some common experiences. I seek to talk to you about that.
. I know based on the most base of human experiences that we share - we get up, we eat, we love our families, we procreate, we expel waste, we die - that you and I have some common experiences. Leaning into those, I am warning you. Something stinks about all of this because even if we know everything, what promises do we have that those in power with all these high and mighty ideals?
Are they actually gonna help people? Do they want to help people? If they have tools will people get access to those tools? will they make sure people understand those tools? will people get to know everything about those tools? Or will they only know what the party wants them to know? Remember. all the facts.
Questions that need answering. As he’d say and the GOP laud, CONCERNING.
There’s more. A lot more. This goes all the way back and I’m just a person who likes to read and write. I’ve delved enough into strange connections between the ideals of Silicon Valley. I’m going to try and sum it up because I’ve taken up enough of your time.
Ask yourself, what do you need. If it’s food, if it’s water, if it’s toys ( no judgement), if it’s love, if it’s friends. Be honest and ask your elected leaders of both parties for it. Then ask yourself what you’re afraid of. If it’s fear of death, if it’s fear of life, if it’s feelings of inadequacy and shame - be honest and share it. Dems seem desperate for an out, so I’m pretty sure they’d at least try to give it to you. Republicans are supposed to give to you. that’s why you voted for them. The second you don’t get it, be loud. We’re Americans. If there is one thing that we can all agree on, we are fucking loud as fuck.
I lean towards getting the Dems to give it to me. I’m a blue haired gay ass liberal elite who you don’t trust even though I’m trusting you to make your own decisions about me. I’ve done the best to give you facts. I don’t like Republicans right now. Your blind worship of a man who let somebody who wants to pick who gets to live forever scares the shit out of me. I don’t want that. You probably don’t like me either and you think you’ve been manipulated by me and other people. That I’m some kind of monster drooling outside your window coming after your values and kids and making you look stupid or I look stupid and you don’t want me to.
In the face of this kind of shit though, I care less about who you are as a person and your choices, and more about the group as a whole. Something stinks here. Be it Democrat or Republican, but the Republican side seems a bit more stinky. If you up a cat from the outside like Elon Musk and bring him into your home, chances are he’s gonna give your pets fleas.
But I don’t know. Those are just facts I’ve found.
I like to read after all.
